Free Plan
The free plan includes a limited number of resume tailoring generations. Because no payment is collected for free-plan usage, there is no refund available for free generations.
Pro Subscription
JobMateAI Pro is billed as a monthly subscription through Stripe. Pro provides unlimited CV tailoring during an active subscription period, subject to fair and lawful use of the service.
Cancellation
You can cancel Pro from the billing portal when it is available in your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your Pro access may remain active until the end of the current paid billing period.
Refund Eligibility
- If you were charged because of a technical billing error, contact support and we will review the charge.
- If you subscribed and were unable to use the Pro features because of a confirmed service issue, contact support with your account email and charge date.
- If you forgot to cancel before renewal, contact support promptly. Refunds for renewal charges are reviewed case by case.
- Refunds are generally not provided for completed months with substantial Pro usage, generated resumes, or unused time after cancellation unless required by law.
AI Output and Job Outcomes
Refunds are not granted solely because a generated resume or outreach draft did not produce an interview, job offer, recruiter response, or other employment result. JobMateAI provides drafting and tailoring tools, not hiring guarantees.
How to Request a Refund
- Contact support through the contact page.
- Include the email address on your JobMateAI account.
- Include the Stripe receipt date or approximate charge date.
- Describe the issue clearly, including any error messages or missing Pro access.
Processing
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method when possible. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund after Stripe processes it.
