We collect the information needed to operate the app, authenticate your account, generate application materials, and manage your subscription.

• Account information such as email address, password hash, Google profile details when you use Google sign-in, and basic session data.
• Resume content from the master PDF you upload, including extracted text used to create tailored application packages.
• Job descriptions you paste into the app so the system can generate role-specific resumes and outreach messages.
• Generated application data, including company name, role title, tailored resume filename, HR email draft, LinkedIn follow-up draft, and creation time.
• Billing status and Stripe customer or subscription identifiers for users who start checkout or subscribe to Pro.
• Operational logs and usage records, including generation counts used to enforce free-plan limits and diagnose service issues.

JobMateAI sends your extracted resume text and pasted job description to an AI model to create a tailored resume structure, company and role details, an HR email draft, and a LinkedIn message draft. You should review generated content before using it. The app is designed to keep resume content truthful, but AI output can still contain mistakes or phrasing you may want to change.

Master resumes and generated PDFs may be stored locally by the deployment or in private S3 storage when configured. Application records remain available in your dashboard while your account exists unless they are deleted through an administrative or support request.

JobMateAI uses Stripe for subscription checkout and billing portal access. We do not store full payment card numbers. Stripe processes payment details according to its own security and privacy practices.

We do not sell your resume data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as authentication providers, AI processing providers, email delivery providers, storage providers, and Stripe for billing.

• You can replace your master resume at any time from the dashboard.
• You can manage or cancel a Pro subscription through the billing portal when available.
• You can request account, resume, or application data deletion by contacting support.
• You can reset your password using the password reset flow.

We use account authentication, private file access, authorization checks, and provider-managed payment handling to protect user data. No system is perfectly secure, so you should avoid uploading information that is not needed for job applications.
